The work-in-progress can be viewed daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a special ceremony on Sunday around 9 a.m. to begin the work, and another around 9 a.m. on July 21. ("The monks kind of operate on their own time," said Juliana Broek, who is helping to organize the event.)
